Muenda Makabidhi

Muenda Makabidhi is a native Massai, but never felt very strongly the inclination to live within the traditions of his people, which would have been breeding cattle and merrying several Massai women.

Instead he went to the University of Daressalam and graduated with honors, as a master of science in wildlife & terrestrial ecology -- and thus became head gamekeeper and director of a Tanzanian national park.

Who knows? Maybe, one day he'll become Tanzanian state minister for conservation and the environment. Or the United Nations will trust in his extensive knowledge of nature conservation ...
